This is the Water Tower No. 2. One of 3 left in Chicago, this truck was in action from the mid 1920’s- late 1960’s and can be seen on display at the Fire Museum of Greater Chicago. This truck has no pumps so it relies on other engines to pump the water to the truck. Requiring a hand crank to lift the nozzles into place, the Water Tower can spray as much water as about 4 single trucks.
