With today being Valentine’s Day, I thought I would post something appropriate.
Day 44: Happy Valentine’s Day!
Day 43: Tomahawk
This is a close up picture of the tomahawk patch on the sleeve of a Blackhawks jersey. This is an alternate logo for the Blackhawks that they started using in 1964/65. This picture was taken during the Blackhawks rally in June 2010 when they brought home the Stanley Cup.
Day 42: Flying High

This is a picture of someone kitesurfing at Montrose Beach (Chicago’s Kite Beach) on a windy day. The ban on kiteboarding was lifted on a test basis starting Labor Day 2004 as an “at-your-own-risk” activity and was evaluated in the Spring of 2005 and opened full season starting summer 2005.

Day 41: Blue Angels
The Blue Angels are part of the Navy as a recruiting effort and to represent the naval service to the United States. These pictures were taken when they were in their four-jet Diamond Formation at the Chicago Air and Water show performed at North Beach.
Day 40: River Piling

A great way to take some interesting photos in Chicago is to take a water taxi. Whether it is summer, fall or spring, you always get some great views of the architecture and city of Chicago. This one was taken of the river piling while waiting at the Madison water taxi stop.
Day 39: Relief on the Horizon
Taken near North Beach after high winds swept Chicago. Off in the distance you can see a rainbow as the weather clears up.
Day 38: Foggy Night

The Chase Tower on a foggy night. The Chase Tower is located on Dearborn street and is 60 stories, 850 ft tall. This is the 10th tallest building in Chicago. It was built in 1969 the building was renamed the Chase Tower in 2005 after the merger with Bank One.
Day 37: The Silver Streak
This photo was taken from the pedestrian bridge above the Metra Electric Line as the train was leaving the Van Buren station.
Day 36: Good Catch
Taken at the Montrose Beach. Two Seagulls fly off to eat after they catch a fish.
