This is the railroad crossing right outside of the Union Stockyard in Chicago along the  Milwaukee District West (MD-W) Metra train line.  As a good number of railroad crossing signs have been converted from wooden posts to metal posts, I wanted to capture the beauty of the older and more aged wooden post.
